Kelly & Co Freeze-Dried Raw Treats for Cats — 100% Single-Ingredient Protein, 40g & 170g
Most cat treats are not what they appear to be.
Check the label on a standard soft treat and you will typically find 20–30% protein, a long list of starch and filler, and artificial flavouring to mask the rest. They taste appealing to your cat, but the nutritional contribution is close to zero. For a species built entirely around animal protein, that is not a reward — it is a habit with no benefit.
The Kelly & Co Freeze-Dried Raw Treats are built differently. Each flavour contains a single animal ingredient, freeze-dried to preserve its natural protein, aroma, and nutritional integrity. Nothing added. No grain, no filler, no flavour enhancement. What you give your cat is exactly what the pouch says.
These treats are curated by Pau & Sun — the founders of CatSlaves and the breeders behind Bangkok Cats, Thailand's world championship cattery. They are the same treats Pau & Sun give their own cats. When a product makes it into a champion cattery's daily routine, the standard it has to meet is not average.
Four flavours. Each with a distinct protein profile and purpose.
Chicken Breast — 70% protein, 8% fat
Pure chicken breast, nothing else. The balanced everyday option — high protein, moderate fat, mild flavour that most cats accept immediately. Suitable for daily training, routine reward, and multi-cat households where one treat needs to work for everyone. At approximately 0.12g of protein per piece, 8–9 pieces deliver around 1g of animal protein.
Wild-Caught Tuna — 80% protein, 1% fat
The leanest option in the range. Wild-caught tuna with virtually no fat makes this the correct choice for overweight cats, neutered cats prone to weight gain, and any cat where frequent rewarding needs to happen without caloric consequence. The highest protein density of the four flavours — approximately 0.13g per piece, meaning 7–8 pieces reach 1g of protein. Ideal for clicker training sessions where treat frequency is high.
Atlantic Salmon — 65% protein, 18% fat
The highest-fat option, and the most aromatic. The omega-3 content from salmon supports skin and coat condition. The stronger smell makes it the most effective option for selective eaters or as a high-value reward for behaviours that need extra motivation. Use salmon when you need a treat your cat finds genuinely exciting, not just acceptable.
Chicken Liver — 60% protein, 12% fat
Organ meat, not muscle meat. Chicken liver is one of the most nutrient-dense single ingredients in animal nutrition — a concentrated source of natural vitamin A, B-complex vitamins, and trace minerals. The intense aroma makes it a strong attractor for cats that are difficult to motivate with milder flavours. Use as part of a rotation to add nutritional variety without complexity.
How to use them
Give as a standalone treat between meals, sprinkle over food to increase palatability, or rehydrate with water for 1–2 minutes if your cat prefers a softer texture. For training use, the small piece size makes portion control straightforward. A 4–5 kg adult cat requires 20–30g of protein daily from their main diet — these treats contribute to, but do not replace, that intake. Always ensure fresh water is available, as freeze-dried food has very low moisture content.

Important note
Freeze-dried treats contain very little moisture. Always ensure your cat has access to fresh water. These treats are not suitable as a main meal. If your cat has a chronic health condition, consult your veterinarian before introducing new foods.
Pairs well with
Wild-Caught Tuna treats are the recommended pairing with the CatSlaves Exercise Wheel for reward-based training — lean protein, no caloric load, and a strong enough smell to motivate movement. Chicken Breast works well as a daily topper alongside the Kelly & Co Dinner Booster for cats that need both enrichment and protein support.
Questions & Answers
How are these different from standard cat treats?
Most treats on the market contain 20–30% protein alongside starch, glycerin, and artificial flavouring. The Kelly & Co Freeze-Dried Raw Treats contain one ingredient — the animal protein named on the pouch. No binders, no flavour additives, no grain. The protein content ranges from 60% to 80% depending on the flavour, which is two to three times higher than standard soft treats. The practical difference is that these treats can be given frequently without meaningfully disrupting a cat's nutritional balance, whereas high-starch treats add empty calories with every piece.
Which flavour is best for training?
For high-frequency training sessions — clicker training, wheel training, or any behaviour where you need to reward repeatedly in a short period — Wild-Caught Tuna is the best choice. At 80% protein and 1% fat, it has the highest protein density and the lowest caloric load, meaning you can give many pieces without concern. Chicken Breast is the right everyday training treat for general reward routines. Atlantic Salmon works well as a high-value motivator for difficult behaviours or selective cats who need a stronger incentive.
Can I use these as a food topper instead of a treat?
Yes. All four flavours can be crumbled or broken over your cat's regular food to increase palatability and protein content. This is particularly useful for cats that are reluctant eaters or have become bored with their existing diet. The freeze-dried texture breaks down quickly on contact with wet food, releasing aroma that most cats respond to immediately. For cats already using the Kelly & Co Dinner Booster, the treats serve a complementary role — the topper delivers a measured protein boost per meal, while the treats provide structured reward outside of mealtimes.
Are these suitable for overweight or neutered cats?
Yes, with flavour selection in mind. Wild-Caught Tuna is specifically suited to overweight and neutered cats — 80% protein with 1% fat means it delivers meaningful protein with minimal calories. Nearly half of cats in Thailand are overweight, and a significant driver is the combination of high-calorie treats and low activity. Replacing starch-heavy treats with Wild-Caught Tuna gives you a treat that supports the interaction and enrichment routine your cat needs without compounding the weight problem.
How much should I give per day?
These treats are a supplement to the main diet, not a meal component. A 4–5 kg adult cat needs 20–30g of protein daily from their primary food. The treats contribute to this but should not replace it. For training use, 10–15 pieces per session is a reasonable starting point. The protein per piece ranges from approximately 0.10g for Chicken Liver to 0.13g for Tuna — so even a generous training session of 20 pieces adds only 2–3g of protein to the day's intake. Always keep fresh water available; freeze-dried food has very low moisture content.
Why does CatSlaves carry these treats specifically?
Pau & Sun — the founders of CatSlaves and the breeders behind Bangkok Cats — give these treats to their own cats. That is the standard we apply to everything we carry: if it is not in our own cattery, it does not go on our shelves. The single-ingredient formulation matters at a championship level because you cannot introduce unknown variables into a performance nutrition programme. Clean ingredients, predictable protein, no additives. The same logic that applies to our champions applies to every cat owner who wants to reward their cat without compromising what they eat.
